NeighborScapes is a nonprofit neighborhood services organization in the South Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.
Please donate to support our work!
We believe in what we call the “cradle-through-college covenant of care” — that is, the strength of our communities is dependent on a collective commitment to our young people from birth until they are equipped with the skills, resources, and support to successfully transition to adulthood.
Can you help sponsor this transition? Just forty-two dollars pays for a day of job experience at our summer camp.
See our new wish list of supplies and volunteer services we need!
At NeighborScapes, our focus is two fold:
- We implement civic and leadership development programs that help teenagers and young adults stay actively engaged in their communities, while providing access to job training and career opportunities for the future.

- We facilitate strategic partnerships with neighborhoods, municipalities, faith-based institutions, and civic groups to develop a network of complimentary programs that make our vision of the “cradle-through-college covenant of care” a reality for the youth in our programs and for the residents throughout the South Suburbs.
